Matt Lescher is an Accessibility Specialist with TheACCESSpartnership, lp (ACCESS) and provides accessibility and accessible means of egress consultation for the Fair Housing Act (FHA), Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), and state and local Building Code-related concerns. His nearly 2 decades of experience includes hospitality, residential, retail, mixed-use, covered malls, lifestyle centers, corporate campuses, educational facilities, high-rise office, cultural, health care, large assembly, stadiums, and arenas.

Prior to joining ACCESS, Mr. Lescher was the Director of Accessibility Services at Code Consultants, Inc. (CCI). Matt currently serves as the Chair of the APA Technical Standards Committee and the APA Certification (APAC) Board of Directors, Past President. Previously, he served as a Principal voting member on the ICC A1171.1 (ANSI) Accessible and Usable Buildings and Facilities Committee, APA Board of Directors, CASI Board of Directors, and was the first APAC President. His certifications include APAC-BE, International Code Council (ICC) Accessibility Inspector/Plans Examiner, California Certified Access Specialist (CASp), and Texas Registered Accessibility Specialist (RAS).
