Joshua has over two decades of experience and leads Jensen Hugh’s universal design projects in the Western Hemisphere. He works with owners, architects, facility managers, and other stakeholders to customize designs for specific communities. Joshua is knowledgeable in navigating the often confusing and contradictory best practices, whether for mobility, neurodivergence, transitional housing, Blind, Deaf, or multi-faith spaces. 

With his broad knowledge of community-specific design and interest in human-centered design, Joshua applies these approaches to increasing access for all people in all building typologies. Also incorporating them into code and standard development, he hopes to benefit people beyond just the projects he works on.
